Help us in our Outreach!

We are facing many challenges. The influence of Africa Village Outreach in Africa, East Africa in Particular is increasing and this is stretching us. There is massive commitment from a few people which is enabling this work to grow rapidly!

Our able and willing part-time ministers, work voluntarily, more than full-time. There is also a call of God upon a great number of ministers from the six districts that we have so far occupied.

To keep up with what God is doing, we are going to need massive resources next year; massive resources of people, of finance and of faith as well as full-time trained teams (Outreach Team). Take a moment to view our Monthly News Letter

Bethany Nursery and Primary School

Remember to pray for Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) candidates. These are final exams in Uganda which make up the end of Primary education. However we are still facing Challenges of meeting their personal needs and maintaining the standard of living.

The School needs a building for the Examination centre and that will enable the School to reduce on the extra expenses that are paid on the P.L.E Exams every year. This has been a thorn in the fresh for a number of years, and it has contributed to the slow expansion of the School.

The School is run by qualified Grade III Head Teacher and has nine (9) teaching staff, a watch man and a cook. The curriculum of the school equips students with social, science and religious ethics. Further, the school together with the Community Health Centre avail medical attention to the students and the community at large. To maintain the standard of the teachers and the entire school, internal retreats/refresher courses are organized by the Board of Directors

Social Counseling and Guidance (SOCAG)

Social Counseling and Guidance (SOCAG) an initiative under AVO umbrella, is committed to seeing that the hopes of people living with different problems and challenges are given the first priority in the society. First of all SOCAG are issues that are believed by many people in Uganda to be the work of elders and hospitals. The trend has changed many people now run to churches for such services. Dating back to Biblical times, Social Counseling and Guidance were also done by the Priests. It is therefore a right thinking that the AVO has opened up its doors to the public; offering the vast service and brings hope for life to all.

However, the AVO is faced with the challenge of making sure that social counseling and guidance throughout her Churches in different districts of Uganda and also as per the objective of Africa village outreach, that is to reach all communities of Africa. This is possible given the fact that funds are available for the team to reach its clients.
